Precautions to performing TRE/attending workshops
Please contact Richmond at treaustralia@hotmail.com if you have any concerns about your suitability to perform the TRE exercises in a workshop setting such as severe physical injury or health conditions, mental health conditions requiring medication or if you are concerned about the way you may respond to the trauma release process.
Please note (as a precautionary measure only), pregnant women are not advised to perform the exercises but are suggested to attend in order to observe others and learn TRE so they can be used as soon as possible after birth.
Discount registration for re-attending TRE workshops
Discount rates (including early bird discounts) are available for people to re-attend both 1 day or 3 day level 1 workshops whether they were run by Richmond Heath or Dr David Berceli.
If you completed a 1 day TRE worskhop in the last 6 months and are seeking Level 1 certification, reattendance at day 1 is recommended (but not compulsory) as it will be credited as 2 hours towards your supervision hours.
Attending workshops as credit for Level 1 supervision hours
People enrolled in the level 1 certification program are able to gain a maximum of 4 hours credit (in a group setting) towards their level 1 supervision hours by re-attending days 2 and 3 of a level 1 workshop or by attending all 3 days of a level 2 workshop. Please note credit is no longer available for re-attending a 1 day/first day of a level 1 workshop unless as an assistant as determined with the presenter. (as at 18/12/11)
If attending a level 2 workshop towards level 1 supervision hours, please note re-attendance at a subsequent level 2 workshop would be required at a subsequent date if seeking level 2 certification – see ‘certification training’ for more information.

Future Australian Workshops:
We aim to provide to workshops in flood, cyclone and earthquake affected areas in Australia and New Zealand and simply require an invitation from local communities or recovery organisations to provide a workshop. Please contact Richmond at treaustralia@hotmail.com if you are able to assist in providing this vital self empowring process to communities affected by these natural disasters.
Privately funded workshops for groups and organisations:

These workshops can be fully sponsored or organised on a per person basis with a minimum number requirement. The workshop is run by a physiotherapist – Richmond Heath – from Trauma Release Australia who has presented at conferences and trainings internationally and has a diverse background in public, cross cultural, physical and mental health.

Australian Workshop Presenter – Richmond Heath
Richmond Heath is a Physiotherapist and founder of Trauma Release Australia who introduced TRE to Australia in 2010 and is the only Level 3 instructor endorsed to teach TRE workshops in Australia. He has run 1/2 day and level 1 trainings around Australia and New Zealand including to bushfire survivors in Vicotria, flood survivors in QLD and earthquake survivors in New Zealand and has a broad background in mental health, community health and suicide prevention.
Through your warmth, friendliness and openness, and the clarity and professionalism of your facilitation, you created a very safe environment in which we could allow ourselves to fully experience the exercises and tremors. Afterwards, I felt calm, relaxed, centered, grounded and my mind was still and peaceful (something that happens rarely!)”
Leigh Ford, Counsellor
