Continuing Ed Accreditation

The following associations have specifically accredted TRE workshops for continuing education units :

  •  Australian Counseling Association  (double OPD points – 12 pts per day)
  • Bowen Association of Australia (Category 2 – further recognised areas of education – 8 ceu’s per day  – bring card to be signed by Richmond)
  • Massage Australia (10 CPE points)
  • Australian Pilates Method Association (6 CEC points per day)
  • Institute of Registered Myotherapists (application pending – awaiting approval)

The following associations recognise all relevant workshops for continuing education without requiring specific accrediation:

  •  Australia Somatic Psychotherapy Assocation (require Certificate of Attendance and receipt)
  • Australian Psychological Society (“APS Members can accrue CPD hours by participating in activities they determine to be relevant to their individual professional skills, learning plans and goals. CPD activities do not need to be endorsed by the APS – [after oct 31st 2011]” Daiva Verbyla, Manager Professional Development Standards, APS
  • Australian Association of Massage Therapists (do not require a course to be AAMT accredited in order to gain points. 10 pts for 1 day, 20 pts for 2 day workshop or longer)

Many assocations do not require workshops to be specifically accredited – please inform us if your association recognises TRE workshops without requiring an additional accreditation application so we can list them here for other therapists. If your assocation requires a specific accreditation application and you believe TRE would be suitable for continuing education approval for your association, please contact Richmond via treaustralia@hotmail.com
